Intentions

Setting intentions is a powerful way to anchor and ground your journey into what you want to receive and create. Then comes the integration (more on that later). Below you will find questions that will help you unearth your intention. Please spend some time, preferably in the mornings when your brain waves are in alpha (before you’ve looked at your phone) journaling about the questions below.

Part 1: Letting Go

What are the things you need to let go?

  • What mental, emotional, spiritual, energetic, or physical attachments do you want to let go of?

  • Why do you want to let go of them? What have they brought you in the past? (ie: pain, stress, unhealthy habits, fear, anger, guilt, shame, unrequited love, stagnation, rejection, attachment, hate, anguish, confusion, loss, sadness, grief, failure, impatience, hatred, regrets, self-sabotaging, self-loathing, self-pity, etc.)

  • What is it costing you NOW by staying attached to them? (ie: happiness, fulfillment, peace, alignment, connection, security, safety, healthy relationships & boundaries, self-esteem, self-love, self-acceptance, etc.)

  • In what areas of your life do you notice the frequency of fear, lack, or doubt coming in?

  • Do you have any core wounds (also known as legacy wounds) that are still manifesting themselves in your life in a way that is limiting?

  • What old beliefs do you carry that block self-love?

  • What aspects of yourself and your life do you not fully accept? What prevents you from accepting them?

  • Who would you like to forgive and why (including yourself)?

  • Where in your life do you not feel safe or confident? Why?

  • Where in your life are you not speaking your truth? What holds you back?

  • Do you feel like you are your highest and best self? If not, what is standing in the way between you and your highest self? *Be careful to notice throwing blame on others. The Blame Game keeps us disempowered.

Part 2: Welcoming

What feelings would you like to feel more of?

  • What feelings would you like to feel more of?

  • Where would you like to feel more love and acceptance in your life?

  • Where could you give more devotion and commitment?

  • What are you devoted to? What do you give your heart fully to?

  • If fear were absent, how would you live your life? What would it look like? Most importantly, how would it feel?

  • If you could not fail, what would you do?

  • What kind of future do you envision for yourself? Be specific and visualize it.

  • Take time to visualize these things while feeling the emotions. Write them down in detail and add anything you feel is important for yourself.

  • It is important to come to the journey with intentions, but not expectations.

  • Trust that you will receive the journey you need and that it will all unfold exactly as it is meant to.
